Triumphant Flower is so named because, well, first of all, just look at her. Doesn’t she just seem to reach up and announce she is there? As well, I named her because that is how I felt at the time. She is the first sculpture that I made on Vancouver Island, and I had a lot of things that I had to overcome in order to build her.
